CountyPull ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email address, and password (stored hashed).
Billing information: processed and stored by our payment processors (Lemon Squeezy, PayPal). We never store full credit card numbers.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, CSV downloads, IP address, browser and device information, timestamps.
Cookies: we use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies to improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Service (delivering CSVs, account access).
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To communicate about your account, updates, and support requests.
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the product.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal information. We share limited information with:
- Payment processors (Lemon Squeezy, PayPal) — for subscription billing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the Service.
- Email delivery providers — to send transactional emails.
- Analytics providers — aggregated, non-identifying usage data.
- Legal authorities — when required by law or valid legal request.
4. Data on County Records
The county records we deliver (foreclosures, probate, etc.) come from publicly available government sources. We do not consider this personal data "ours" — it belongs to the public record.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active, plus up to 7 years after closure for tax and legal compliance. Usage logs are typically retained for 90 days.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Opt out of non-essential analytics cookies.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, hashed passwords at rest) and restrict internal access to authorized personnel. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

CountyPull is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the country where CountyPull is operated.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
